Three generations in the same trade
Aydın Ticaret was opened in 1973 in Kazımkarabekir Taşköprü, Ankara, by our founder Süleyman Aydın, to sell automotive paint and consumables. Our steady growth in the trade gathered pace in 1987, when the Şaşmaz branch opened and management passed to the second generation. In 1993 we took an important step towards becoming a corporate business by registering as a limited company, and the branch in Başkent followed later.
We have always set out to bring our customers solutions that move the trade forward. It was with that in mind that our 1990 partnership with Saico led us to install the first automotive paint booth in Ankara. Over the years we widened the range well beyond automotive paint, to cover bonding chemicals, abrasives, surface preparation and safety equipment.
By 2023 we had given the wholesale side of the business a home of its own: a modern 1,500 m² logistics centre and offices in the İvedik district. With the drive of the third generation we began direct import operations in 2024, and in 2026 we extended the warehouse further. Today our service network reaches every corner of Türkiye, delivering the consumables the trade depends on.
From 1973 to today

Established as a sole trader in Kazımkarabekir Taşköprü, Ankara, to supply automotive paint and consumables. (Founder: Süleyman Aydın)
1st generation - 1987Şaşmaz Branch
The Şaşmaz branch opened to meet growing demand, and management of operations passed to the second generation.
2nd generation - 1990Saico Partnership
Strong relationships with international brands led us to install the first automotive paint booth in Ankara.
- 1993Becoming a Company
The business registered as a limited company. The Başkent branch opened in the years that followed.
- 2023Wholesale Restructured
New warehouse and office space in the İvedik Organised Industrial Zone gave the wholesale operation a home of its own.
3rd generation - 2024Direct Import
The first import operations were completed, bringing brands to the local market straight from their global manufacturers.
- 2026Logistics Expansion
Warehouse and office space was physically extended to carry the growing volume and range.
What we do
We are the authorised dealer and regional distributor for more than 15 international brands across automotive paint, bonding chemicals, abrasives and safety equipment.
We work through a specialist wholesale team of six covering the Ankara region. Orders go out within Ankara on our own vehicle fleet, and to the rest of Türkiye through the couriers we work with.
We stay with our customers past the point of sale, giving technical advice while the work is being done. We also take on the maintenance, repair and spare part supply of colour measurement computers and other equipment.
